Albenga

Albenga is a historic coastal city on Liguria's Riviera di Ponente, in north-west Italy, set where the Centa river meets the sea and backed by the hills of the Savona hinterland. Its walled medieval centre, with its towers and narrow lanes, sits beside a broad alluvial plain and a stretch of coastline facing the island of Gallinara.
