Monte Argentario

Monte Argentario is a hilly promontory on the southern Tuscan coast, joined to the mainland by narrow sandbars that enclose the Orbetello lagoon. Its settlements, including Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, sit around small harbours and climb the slopes, so many properties look out over the sea and the surrounding Mediterranean scrub.
