APE:138,12kWhm2Price: Private negotiationAn hour and a quarter from Milan and twenty minutes from Lake Maggiore, splendid medieval tower on five floors, restored by an architect. Private garden and hanging terrace in the context of an ancient village. The Visconti tower, built in 1487, is under the protection of the Monumental Heritage of Piedmont and is part of a complex system of fortified and signaling towers that from the mountain passes to Lake Maggiore had the function of warning of the arrival of enemy troops. It is located in the ancient nucleus of the village of Beura, served by a convenient stone-paved car park, easily accessible from the highway that connects Milan to Domodossola and the Simplon Pass. The ancient historic centre is located on the slopes of one of the entrance roads to the Val Grande National Park, the largest wilderness area in Italy, in a wild setting on the bank of the Ogliana stream, where in the hot summer months it is possible to swim in the "blades" of pristine water where the rocks are reflected. The tower of 7.50 x 7.50 meters, is spread over five floors for a height of 18 meters and with a gross area of 320 square meters. The hanging terrace is 38 square meters, the garden of about 200 square meters. On the ground floor there is a vaulted room used as a study, accessible from the garden and with an independent entrance gate. On the first floor there is the kitchen open onto a large hanging terrace where from spring to autumn and on summer evenings a stone table is used as a dining area. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms with bathroom, on the second there is the living room and from here, with an ancient wooden ladder, you enter the attic room with bathroom and splendid view of the stone roofs of the old village and the Ogliana stream. Below the terrace there is a cellar room and the laundry / boiler room with access to the garden. The tower has been restored a few years ago and structural and plant engineering interventions have been carried out, which have equipped it with all living comforts. The interventions carried out have respected the original structure of the tower while maintaining its ancient charm. Energy class E.
