Quartesana – duplex apartment with large mezzanine and wooden ceilings In Quartesana, within a particular residential context obtained from the complete renovation of an old barn and now divided into only four residential units, we offer for sale an apartment characterized by large rooms, important internal heights and splendid ceilings with exposed wooden beams. The house is developed between the first floor and the upper floor and has a decidedly different distribution of spaces than the classic apartment. The heart of the house is represented by the large living room, a particularly suggestive environment thanks to the considerable internal height and the wooden roof with exposed beams. The living area is further enhanced by the presence of the fireplace and above all by the large mezzanine above, open and directly overlooking the living room. The upper level is one of the most characteristic elements of the building: a generously sized space, illuminated by the openings made in the roof and currently used as a relaxation area, study and multifunctional environment. The view of the floor below creates a pleasant visual continuity between the two levels and allows you to fully appreciate the heights and original architecture of the building. On the main floor there is also a spacious eat-in kitchen, also embellished with a ceiling with exposed wooden beams, as well as the sleeping area consisting of two bedrooms and bathrooms. The entire house retains the rustic character of the original building through the use of wood, some exposed brick elements and unconventional interior volumes, while maintaining a functional distribution for daily life. A solution suitable for those who want to live in a particular and private residential context, looking for a home that stands out from the classic apartment especially for the large mezzanine, the double height of the living room and the warmth of the wooden ceilings. A house that is not only striking for what is around it, but above all for what is happening above us.
